Bob Durig MoKan 2022 Begins

Game 3: (3-0-0)
Vs. Sion at 7:30 in first round of Bob Durig Mo-Kan (5-1)

We were the anomaly for the first day of the Bob Durig Mo-Kan, as we were the only winning team to score more than one goal in regulation. We put in five goals, with senior, Abby Hansen doffing the hat, junior, Sydney Watts adding 2 assists.

Traditionally, we have frequently opened the tournament against Sion. And we have had some great matches against them.

The Storm kept us out of the net for awhile. In fact, it was only 1-0 at the half. But we came out on a mission the second half quickly to spread that lead to 4.

Sion did a nice job of finding the net on a follow to a shot on goal with a couple of minutes to go. But overall, they had difficulty creating many chances against the Saints pressure all over the field.

The Saints advance to the semi-finals on Wednesday evening at the same time (7:30) to take on Pembroke Hill, a shootout winner over Lee's Summit North.
